Remove all or the required
amount of wax from the container and place in the bowl of an oil burner, but don't add any water as
you would normally do with oils. Light a tea light underneath
and the wax will warm and melt dispersing the fragrance in to
the room. When cooled they will solidify ready for use again,
but if you want a change of fragrance, they can normally be
removed by placing the burner in the fridge (once it's cooled) for a few hours and
then easing the wax from the bowl.
We use a high quality wax guaranteed by the manufacturers to contain no Palm Wax, Petroleum, Paraffin or Beeswax. It is also free from pesticides and herbicides and contains no genetically modified material.
They weigh approx. 30gm (just over an ounce)
I find the easiest way to get them out the pot is to ease the sides gently, then turn them upside down and press lightly on the base.
Depending on the size of your burner's bowl, you may like to break them into half or smaller.
